Verse 1
Our blessed hope we find no rest,
Until You reign in righteousness.
Then we shall stand in garments pure,
With all who love Your dwelling fair.
O Son of God, O Word of God, O Light of God
Prepare Your way
Verse 2
This passing age its strife will cease,
Your sons will dwell in endless peace.
Our eyes shall see the death of sin,
All shadows flee, all sorrows end.
O Son of God, O Word of God, O Light of God
Prepare Your way
Verse 3
With hearts afire and set above,
We seek Your face O Son beloved!
Our longing grows for heaven’s sight
Jerusalem, adorned in light.
O Son of God, O Word of God, O Light of God
Prepare Your way
Verse 4
The hour is late, the day draws near
Make haste O Lord Your power stir
May all who live Your name adore
Remove the veil and wait no more
O Son of God, O Word of God, O Light of God
Prepare Your way
God prepare your way
